Wynona Dalton returned to her Heavenly Father on March 3, 2013 at the age of 76. She passed away at Utah Valley Specialty Hospital after a two month fight from complications of heart surgery.

Wynona was born May 15, 1936 to Myrtle Marie and Arnel Henry Holyoak in Moab, Utah. She was the oldest of three daughters. She graduated from Grand County High School in 1954 where she was very active in her high school pep club and was in the marching band. She married her childhood sweetheart and the love of her life Neal K. Dalton on May 26, 1954, for time and eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple. They would have celebrated 59 years of marriage this year. They were blessed with two children Arnel Kent Dalton and Carolyn Noyes.

She enjoyed riding horses, ranching with her father, hunting and cooking. Music was a big part of her life. She sang with her sisters and father at many gatherings. She loved going and supporting any sporting event, reading and crocheting and most of all she loved being on the mountain and going for drives with her husband by her side.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many ward and stake callings through the years. Wynona loved her family very much and was always very proud of them and their accomplishments. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her brother Henry Holyoak, parents Arnel and Myrtle Holyoak, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and her brother in law Ollie Knutson.

She is survived by her husband Neal K. Dalton, 2 children Kent (JoeLynn) Dalton and Carolyn (Cole) Noyes, 2 sisters Roberta Knutson and Cheryl (Jim) Nyland, 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and a large extended family.

The Family would like to thank all those who touched Nona's life.

They Live OnThey Live On

   Those we love remain with us
   For love itself lives on;

   Cherished memories never fade
   Because one loved is gone.

   Those we love can never be
   More than a thought apart;

   For as long as there’s a memory,
   They live on within our heart.
