Carol Lee Kearns

Born: 4/5/1942, Monte Vista, Colorado
Death: 7/2/2013, Moab, Utah
Service: 07/08/2013, 4:00 pm, Spanish Valley Mortuary

Carol Lee Kerns is dancing with angels today. She went home to be with our Lord Tuesday July 2, 2013 after a long and courageous fight with COPD. You can breathe now Mama. The loving and caring staff at the Moab Regional Hospital took such loving care of her during her last days. Thank you so much! For two and a half years previously she had been taken fantastic care of by the staff at the Canyonlands Care Center. Some of the staff there became very dear friends to her and she loved you dearly. Carol was born in Monte Vista Colorado on April 5, 1942.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Jewel Gann, Husband Robert “Buzz” Kerns, and two brothers Ray & Bobby Gann.

She left behind a brother Mickey (Bev) Gann, Son Mickey Christian, Daughter Shelly (Troy) Brooks, nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was loved and will be missed

They Live OnThey Live On

   Those we love remain with us
   For love itself lives on;

   Cherished memories never fade
   Because one loved is gone.

   Those we love can never be
   More than a thought apart;

   For as long as there’s a memory,
   They live on within our heart.
