Born: 9/20/1919, Manti, Utah Morlin was born in Manti, Utah on September 20, 1919 to William and Luella Cox. He married June Thorpe on August 8, 1945 and they made their home in Manti. He was a member of the LDS Church and served in many positions. He was a Veteran of World War II, receiving the Bronze Star and Purple Heart, and the Korean War. Morlin retired from teaching Industrial Arts at Manti High School and was owner/operator of the Manti Telephone Company. He was an active member of the community, serving on many committees and organizations. Wife June, second wife Muriel, three sisters and one brother preceded him in death. Survived by Paul (Connie) Cox, Kathryn (Ronald) Larsen, and Debra (Preston) Paxman, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great grand children and 3rd wife Marie. A graveside service with military honors will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 11:00am at Manti Cemetery.
