Lawrence Allen ”Larry” Rosendahl, 66, passed away at his home Saturday June 18, 2011.
Larry was born October 8, 1944 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was adopted by Allen F. and Martha Belle Paterson Rosendahl who raised him in California. Larry enjoyed California but wanted to know what it was like in other places so he moved around, living in Idaho, Wyoming, and Florida just to name a few. Larry had a great eye for photography and moved to Moab several years ago to enjoy the scenic area to take pictures. Beside being a great photographer, he was also very gifted at woodworking.
Larry enjoyed life and being with people. He volunteered time in Moab teaching woodworking, photography, being part of the mentoring program, and helping at the multicultural center.
Larry will be greatly missed by his Rockridge family, and those that took the time to get to know him.
He is survived by his mother Martha of Anaheim, CA; 2 uncles Donald R. (Joyce) Paterson of Anaheim, CA, Paul M. Paterson of Milan, Ohio and his dog and best friend Dudley.
He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.
A Memorial Service is pending.

|They Live On
Those we love remain with us
For love itself
Cherished memories never fade
Because one loved
Those we love can never be
More than a thought
For as long as there’s a memory,
on within our heart.
