Marcella Eliza Andersen Snow passed away March 12, 2012 at Moab Regional hospital surrounded by her family.

Marcella was born November 16, 1917 to Andrew Ludwig and Hetty Guymon Andersen in Huntington, Utah. A tiny blonde girl full of spunk and sweetness, was raised on a farm doing many chores and working hard for the family. She graduated from North Emery High School, and following high school attended BYU. After a year at BYU she served a mission in the North Western States Mission where she served for two years in Washington State and Vancouver Canada. She married Erwin Lamph Snow on June 20, 1941.

Learning to play the piano became a life long love, which brought her and others much enjoyment. Always faithful to the gospel she has been an inspiration to all who have known her. Love for family was her greatest joy, taking pride in all their accomplishments and talents.

She is survived by 2 children Tom (Jean) Snow, Sue Walts (Kerry) Rasmussen ;10 grandchildren Wade (Tammy) Snow, Wendy (John) Riding, Ted Snow, Brady Snow, Holly (Charlie) Bramwell, Rachel (Brian) Schaad, Trena Snow, Cade Snow, Bryce Snow, Tyler Snow; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Erwin, 2 children Bill Snow and Levy Snow, 4 brothers, and a son-in-law Victor George Walts.

Funeral service will be held Saturday March 17, 2012 at 2:00 pm A viewing will be held Friday March 16, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and 1 hour before the service all services will be held at the Moab LDS Stake Center 710 Locust Lane.

A special thanks to Wade, Tammy, Ted, and Mylene Snow for their care and the concern and love that was shown by the neighbors and friends .We thank them all for the many years of service to our sweet little mother. We would also like to thank Moab Regional and Grand County Hospice for all their kindness and care.
