Green River- Larry Major Bowerman, age 63, died, Friday, September, 2012 after a long battle with Hepatitis C.
Larry was born in Glendale, Arizona to Leroy and Marioliver (Polly) Bowerman.
He graduated from Monticello High School in 1967. After graduation he moved to San Francisco, California and then up North to Burnt Ranch, CA. He was a brick layer and poured concrete by trade.
Moved to Green River in 1992. Helped his mother sell Green River Melons and worked for the Dunham Melon stand. Had an interest in sail boats, airplanes, and reading books. A year before he died he started writing a book about small mistakes in your life that have serious affects.
He is survived by his daughter, Mithrell Bowerman, Santa Cruz, CA; mother, Marioliver (Polly) of Green River; sister, Judy (Tom) Hills, Eatonville, WA.; brothers, Von (Cindy) of Green River, Paul (Jeannine) of Logandale, NV.; eight neices, one nephew and their spouses, eight great-neices and nine great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Leroy and neice Katina.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 12, 2012, 3:30 p.m., Elgin Cemetery, Green River.
