Sandy Kay Kenny, 65, of Moab passed away September 19, 2014 at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.

She was born January 15, 1949 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Vincent and Jo Putnam. She was married to Larry Kenny for many years. Sandy is survived by her husband Larry,; son Jody (Bai) Fleming of Grand Junction, CO; stepdaughters Sandi L. Kenny, Angie K. Kenny-Jones both of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren Brighton Kenny, Haley Beck, Morgan Nielsen, Samantha Nielsen, Derek Nielsen; 2 sisters Amy (Cliff) Carter of Moab, Vicki Sutak of Wayne, Nebraska; a niece Carrie Sutak.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nephew Jamie Kaveny, brother-in-law Monte Sutak, and mother-in-law Ruth Guthrie.

At Sandy’s request cremation has taken place and private family services will be held at a later date.
