Barbara (Cookie) Halstead passed away in November 5, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on May 19, 1941. Cookie always loved being a sister, a wife, an aunt, a mother, and a grandmother. She survived by her husband Ron Halstead, her sisters Patty Horton, Carol Weatherholts, and her brother Bill Danny Benson (Rose), her daughter Ronda (Stacy) Wimmer, her son Paul (Annette) Halstead, and her grandchildren Courtney Wimmer, Colby Wimmer, Cade Halstead, Trenton Halstead, Amberly Halstead, Tiana Halstead, and Sasha Halstead.
“Missing someone is your heart’s way to tell you that you loved them.” Cookie will truly be missed and will always be in our hearts forever.

Service: 11/15/2014, 11:00 am, Spanish Valley Mortuary
Services will be held Saturday November 15th at 11:00 am at the Spanish Valley Mortuary (386 North 100 West Moab, UT 84532). After the service, there will be a reception at the home of Ron and Cookie Halstead (1231 South Sage Ave Moab, UT 84532).
