Vesta Johnson Clements
Born: 6/10/1925, Provo, Utah
Vesta and Eddie were rock hounds and loved to go out rock hunting. On one of these excursions they discovered a new rock that was named after them, Osmundacaulis Wadei. They were very proud to have this discovery named after them.
Vesta loved to cook and bake and at one time she baked bread and cinnamon rolls for the Cattlemen’s. She loved to have family get-togethers and cook for everyone. She was a really good cook and was known for her fried chicken, which was a family favorite.
Vesta is survived by her sister, Arlene Parks; daughters, Susan (Ernie) Lisonbee; Sally (Doug) Allen; Michelle (Keith) Holyoak; Janet (Reggie) Gay and sons, Edward Leonel (Linda) Wade; Sterling (Josie) Wade and Vint (Donna) Wade; 23 grandkids, 59 great-grandkids and 23 great, great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by 6 sisters, Hester McFadden, Leola West, Zelma Sorenson, Vera Rule (her twin), Elfonda Sargent, and one brother, Roland Johnson. Also preceded by one son, Shane and a grandson, Matt.
