Lily Clara McClish passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in Moab, Utah. She was thirteen years old. Lily was born in Arlee, Montana on September 23, 2003. From a very young age, Lily had an unbounded love for animals. She raised chickens, cows, pigs, and goats. And adored her horses and pet rats. Lily was fearless on a horse, earning her the much-deserved nickname “Wild Lily.” Her smile was infectious and her laughter resonant. Lily recently received the “Student of the Month” award from Moab Middle School for tolerance, which was a very important value that Lily didn’t see enough of in the world.

A memorial service for Lily will be held at the Grand Center in Moab, Utah on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
Tributes: Dear McClish family - I have been very touched by the death of your daughter Lily, even though I never knew her and don't know you. Her photo with the dog in the obituary is so sweet and from your description she sounds like she was a very lively, sensitive and caring child. I grieve for her loss to this world and struggle to understand her decision to leave. It is so unbearably sad. I can't imagine the grief you in her family must feel. May you find strength and peace to carry on in your own lives. And I pray Lily is now free of her suffering. I have her photo in a special place to remember her. With Heartfelt Sympathy, - Carolyn DaileyJen and other family members. My heart and thoughts are with you during this time of a great loss. Jen I know your niece meant the world to you. I am here for you Jen if you need anything. Love, - Diane Calloway-GrahamWe are so sorry about your Lilly and your loss. our hearts go out to you. With love, - Bill & Inalyn Meador

They Live On |
Those we love remain with us
For love itself
lives on;
Cherished memories never fade Because one loved
is gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought
apart;
For as long as there’s a memory, They live
on within our heart.
