Lin Mai Jese
Born: 12/25/1954, Vietnam Death: 10/12/2017, Moab, Utah
LinMai Jese, aged 62, died peacefully on October 12, 2017 at her home in Moab Utah surrounded by her family, after a battle with cancer. LinMai was born December 25, 1954, in Vietnam the daughter of Van Nhut Nguyen and Thi Hai Huynh. In December 14, 1971 LinMai married the love of her life Frank Jese in Vietnam and then moved to the United States and eventually took up a permanent residence in Moab, Utah where she started her beautiful family. LinMai blessed this world with 3 beautiful children, Billy, LeThu and ThuThuy. LinMai dedicated her life to being a loving mother, wife and friend, those that knew her closest could feel the love that would radiate from her. LinMai was the definition of a loving and passionate mother and homemaker, LinMai was an excellent cook and loved to make her traditional meals from her homeland for her beloved family. Anyone that was blessed to try her traditional meals could attest to the love she poured into her family and her exquisite flair for cooking. One of her greatest passions in this life was her children and her grandchildren, she loved being surrounded by her family and friends. LinMai always adorned herself with such class and eloquence that even people that didn't know her were moved and touched with the opportunity to meet such a beautiful soul. One of her greatest and most admired accomplishments was studying diligently to become a U.S. Citizen, after spending much of her life self-teaching herself English.
She is preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.
She is survived by her husband Frank Jese, her children Billy Jese(Kristie Umberger), LeThu Standage(Jason Standage), ThuThuy Woodard(Justin Woodard), grandchildren Malina Bohannon, Tobias Jese, Nyah Woodard, Nathanial Umberger-Jese, Kian Woodard, Nkecha Umberer-Jese, and a sister Lung Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.
At LinMai request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
