James Martin Fisher

Born: 7/14/1958, Brookline, Massachusetts
Death: 6/8/2018, Moab, Utah
Service: 06/26/2018, 10:00 am, M A R C

James M. Fisher, age 59, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018, due to heart failure.

He was born July 14, 1958, to Carole Gibney and Benjamin Fisher. He served in the army national guard for six years, and was proud to serve his country. In his last years he was a hard working, humble, overall caring man who loved his hikes. He loved to fish and had gained a passion for photography and would go out regularly to do both. Often, he would put others like his wife before himself, many times no matter the cost.

He is survived by his wife, Aliesha; his three daughters, Rebekah, Melissa, and Nicole; his two stepsons, Brian, and Raiden; five grandchildren; Benjamin Fisher Jr., Michael Gogos, Sandi Teck, and Carl Fisher, his siblings.

Those who knew James are invited to the Moab Arts & Recreational Center, 111 E 100 N Moab, Utah at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 for a service for the beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather, that was James M. Fisher.

Tributes:

My beloved husband, no one ever gave me a life like you did. I am blessed to have been your wife for 7 1/2 years. I know that you were a blessing to all who loved and knew you. Rest in peace with the Lord Jesus.. until we meet again in Heaven. Forever loved and forever missed.
I love you, your wife
- Aliesha Fisher

Jim, we have spent many years and many miles apart. Iím sure the father opened the gate for you as you approached his kingdom. I know we will all be together again in the glory land. I love you and I pray that the father keeps and guides your family thru the trying times ahead. Your baby sister, xoxoxo

They Live OnThey Live On

   Those we love remain with us
   For love itself lives on;

   Cherished memories never fade
   Because one loved is gone.

   Those we love can never be
   More than a thought apart;

   For as long as there’s a memory,
   They live on within our heart.
