Kathleen Margaret Daniels
Born: 10/25/1962, Flagstaff, Arizona
She was born in Flagstaff, AZ as the 7th child to Elmer Daniels and Else (Burfeind) Daniels. Kathleen graduated Grand County High school in 1981 and was a long time resident of Moab. She had a creative, caring and generous spirit. Her steal trap memory and witty sense of humor gave her talent for telling a tale and making people laugh. Kathleen was willing to give those in need a place to sleep and food to eat. She had incredible pride and undying love for her family, friends and the community in which she lived.
An excerpt from a poem written by Kathleen: “When I go to sleep at night, I do not have any fright. You watch over me every day. Small price to pay. Thanks for loving me. I will always love you. Devoted Kathleen I will find the Rainbow.”
She is survived by her 4 daughters- Mackenzie, Sara, Jenyce and Rebakah, 5 grandchildren- Heidi, Lukas, Kaitlyn, Fox and Will, 6 siblings- Coralee, Ester, Mike, Eric, Kevin and Tammy, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by both parents, her brother Pat and her son. We love you, our Mom, our Grandma, our Sister, our Friend. Rest peacefully knowing that you were, are, and will always be forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, people wanting to help can make a donation for cremation and memorial expenses to the Kathleen Daniels Memorial Fund at Mountain America Credit Union. Memorial services will be held at a later time to allow those who want to be present the opportunity to remember and honor Kathleen.
