They Live OnThey Live On

   Those we love remain with us
   For love itself lives on;

   Cherished memories never fade
   Because one loved is gone.

   Those we love can never be
   More than a thought apart;

   For as long as there’s a memory,
   They live on within our heart.

TRIBUTES

Rick was a friend from Friday evening gatherings since I moved to Moab on Halloween, 1999. Bringing in millennium @ Bill & Linda Riggs with Jennifer Redding was definitely a highlight of my start in Grand/Moab/Castle Valley. Rick passed away 05/09/2020 just as COVID began in March, 2020. Therefore, it wasn't wise to hold an Irish Wake & Potluck for Rick to mourn his passing and celebrate the completion of his 'Circle of Life'. Hopefully, 4 years later we can celebrate our dear friend and community contributor. Peace be with you, Rick🙏🍀🎵

Rick worked at HMK back in the day and I so enjoyed talking about current events and the meaning of life with him. He always provided many useful Insights to both. May he rest in Peace

So sorry to hear this. I really enjoyed working with Rick, he was very kind and helpful. His passing makes me very sad. Rest In Peace Rick!♥

I've enjoyed knowing Rick for the past 16 years. I enjoyed the discussions we had about his Fireworks adventures around the world. He was a quiet expert in his field and meticulous in his preparations. He was quite pleased with his involvement in world record breaking fireworks. I was disappointed that the children's book he wrote never made it to publication. Rick had many talents and enjoyed sharing them. Rest well Rick. Till we meet again.

I was sorry to hear of Rick's passing. He was something of a playwright. His " The origins of escargot" was a hilarious short play I saw performed by Randy Evans and others on the 90's. I worked with him on a movie once too. Rick you were appreciated and are sorely missed.
- Leo Dutilly

We'll miss you Rick, even more so on this 4th of July. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be members of your fireworks crew. It was a highlight of our lives which we'll always cherish. We'll see you in every fireworks show forevermore

I was so sad to hear Rick had passed. He had so much life to offer our community. He was a great play writer, actor, wonderful cook at the Hideout, a talented singer, guitar and piano player, home carpenter, he wrote funny Children's book (love the one about lint in your pocket) and what most people know him is by his innovated firework display world wide. We all have been missing him and always will.
