OBITUARY

Linda Kay Dull, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and kindness. Born on May 27, 1947, in Borger, Texas, Linda was the cherished daughter of Buel Albert Turner and Euteva Imogene Moore Turner.

In 1955, the Turner family moved to Moab, Utah, where Linda spent her formative years. She shared her childhood with her dear siblings, Ronald Turner and Carol Turner Beason. She was also a Grand County High School alumni, Linda graduated in 1966.

On July 25, 1970, Linda married the love of her life, Duane Allen Dull. Together, they built a beautiful family and life in Moab. Linda and Duane were blessed with four wonderful children: Chaney, Christy, Jamey, and Shawn. Linda was a devoted mother who filled her home with warmth and love.

Linda had many passions and hobbies that brought joy to her life and to those around her. She found solace and creativity in crocheting, bingo, bowling, drawing, and gardening. Her artistic talents and green thumb were admired by all who knew her. Linda’s true gift, however, was her ability to listen without judgment, offer the best hugs, and make everyone feel deeply loved and valued.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Buel and Euteva Turner, and her beloved daughter, Chaney. Though their loss was profound, Linda’s strength and resilience were a source of comfort to her family.

Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Duane, and her loving children: Christy (Jeff) McElhaney, Jamey (Jeff) Edwards, and Shawn Dull. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Brody, Cameron, Breckin, Chaney, and many “adopted” family members who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Linda’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her gentle spirit and unwavering support will be deeply missed but never forgotten. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the lasting impact she had on all of us.

A viewing will be held at Spanish Valley Mortuary on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 11am-1pm followed by a memorial graveside service to honor Linda’s life at 2pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family invites all friends and family that knew and loved Linda to a simple luncheon at the Red Rock 4 Wheeler Clubhouse at 11850 S Hwy 191 following graveside.
