OBITUARY

Roger Alan Ward, 63, unexpectedly passed away in his home on March 8, 2025

Roger was born September 16, 1961 to Charles Ernest Ward and Judith Ann Ward (White) in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Roger grew up in the Colorado mountains, where he found his love for the outdoors and wildlife. 

Though he was a Business Entrepreneur throughout his life, he was most proud of being an independent truck driver. 

Roger was a kind soul with an ornery streak, but he was always the guy you could depend on. Roger was a man of simple pleasures; he loved old cars, good music, grilling something delicious up, bonfires, puttering out in his garden, caring for miscellaneous critters and occasionally a nice cold drink after a long day. 

Roger is survived by his Daughter Jessie Pettis, Son-in-law Vincent,  and only grandson Dane. Roger also leaves behind other family members and friends that will greatly miss him. 

Per his wishes no service will be held.  If anyone feels the need to honor him, please consider donating to St. Jude’s Children Hospital. Roger loved what St. Jude’s stood for and would donate to their cause whenever he had the chance.
